The More You Explore, The More You Understand
"The guitar isn't a collection of patterns. It's one pattern, viewed from different angles."
There are thousands of guitar lessons online, and most of them tell you what to memorize. We built something different: a collection of interactive tools that let you play with the fretboard and watch it reorganize itself in real time. Change the key. Change the capo. Change the chord. Change the inversion. Change the scale. Ask "what if I..." and see what happens.
Fretboard Decoded is a collection of free and Pro interactive guitar tools built around one idea: explore first, memorize less. Change the key, the capo position, the chord, the inversion, or the scale, and watch the entire fretboard reorganize itself in real time. See the same notes, intervals, and shapes from different angles until the patterns start connecting on their own. No music degree required. Built by a self-taught guitarist who learned the hard way, for players at every level.

Like most guitar players, I fumbled through tabs, memorized shapes, and hoped something would click. After years of breaking it all down I figured out how to make theory simple, practical, and actually useful on the guitar.
This book isn't about memorizing rules. It's about building your understanding layer by layer: root notes, triads, pentatonics, full scales, modes, until the whole fretboard makes sense.
If you're tired of feeling stuck and want to finally connect the dots, this is where you start.

I'm just a regular guy who started out knowing next to nothing about how music actually works. Like most guitar players, I fumbled through tabs, memorized shapes, and hoped something would click. But the more I played, the more I realized I didn't just want to copy other people's music. I wanted to understand it.
That's what led me down the rabbit hole of music theory. At first, it felt like drinking from a firehose: too much information, too many rules, and none of it seemed to stick. The breakthrough wasn't memorizing more. It was seeing the same note, the same interval, the same chord shape from a different angle, and suddenly going "oh... this is the same thing I saw over there."
That's why I built these tools. Not to replace learning, but to speed it up by letting you explore, experiment, and stumble onto the same connections it took me years to find.
Happy jamming. - PJ
